This project is to renovate and reconfigure the interior of B5247, the 47th Fighter Squadron Building. The renovation of the 1,756 SF includes upgrade and replacement of HVAC systems, electrical systems, lighting, fire protection, communications, interior finishes, plumbing and a roof replacement. This project also includes construction a 6,580 SF Addition to Building 5247 including reinforced concrete footings and floor slab, steel framing, masonry walls, standing seam metal roof, mechanical/HVAC, electrical, fire protection, utilities, and all necessary support. The facility will be designed as permanent construction in accordance with the Department of Defense Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-01. Sustainable principles, to include Life Cycle cost-effective practices, will be integrated into the design, development and construction of the project. This project will comply with Department of Defense Antiterrorism/Force Protection requirements per Unified Facilities Criteria 4-010-01. Air Conditioning: 90 tons.
Davis-Monthan AFB has requested renovation of the 47th Squadron – B5247. This is a Design-Bid-Build project that will utilize the Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside MATOC.
