Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Ketchikan is requesting a statement of qualifications from aerial mapping and imagery firms interested in providing updates for aerial orthoimagery, LiDAR-derived topographic mapping, and related services. a. Camera specifications and Calibration Certificate b. Proposed flight and control plan c. Proposed Aerotriangulation methods and means The services required by the City of Ketchikan for the Aerial Orthoimagery project include, but are not limited to, the following: 1. Aerial ground control surveys to establish horizontal and vertical control for aerial targets. The necessity and scope of these services to be determined by Contractor upon reviewing the enclosed information regarding the City’s existing GPS control network, topographic database, and GIS parcel/street layers. The City is willing to work with the Contractor to establish the required targets, including painting or paneling of targets. 2. Creation of orthorectified 0.25’/pixel digital photography over the entire urbanized area. 3. Creation of new LiDAR-derived Digital Elevation Model (DEM) products including Digital Terrain Model (DTM) suitable for 2’ contours and Digital Surface Model (DSM). 4. All aerial imagery and LiDAR procedures and products must be documented in a comprehensive report to be delivered at project completion and data products must include metadata compatible with the City of Ketchikan’s GIS Requirements.
