Specifications include, but are not limited to: The primary focus is to bring the Port MacKenzie facilities back to its original operational state before the November 2018 earthquake. The work and deliverables will require the Engineer to perform all calculations, studies, research and code analysis to be in full compliance with state laws governing the practice of architecture and engineering. The Engineer will produce new repair drawings and specifications and a statement of probable construction cost (SPCC) with updates at each phase of design. All work must be in full compliance with current International Building Codes, as well as all other pertinent federal, state and local codes. The Engineer is responsible for all aspects of site investigations and design including, but not limited to, architectural, civil, electrical, site survey, bathymetric survey, geotechnical (to include topographic survey and mapping to one-foot contour intervals in the Port MacKenzie area, test pits, borings, sampling, testing and evaluation and other pertinent information to be compiled into a formal geotechnical report), access routes, signage, structural, acoustical, permitting, all utility planning, cost estimates and coordination with utility installation/connection. Services will include project drawings to include construction and record drawings, O & M manuals, on-site representation/inspections, and warranty period support. Construction administration throughout the duration of the construction contract will also be requested. All surveys and design drawings shall be based on Alaska State Plane Zone 4, NAVD 88 horizontal and vertical coordinate systems unless otherwise approved by the Project Manager
