Specifications include, but are not limited to: The objective of the term contract is to assist District’s staff as necessary to respond to a variety of contract task orders (CTOs). The CTOs are generally planned as part of the Capital Improvement Program; however, many unanticipated or emergency projects arise which may also require the use of the term contracts. Proposers should be aware that it is the expectation of the District that assigned CTO’s will receive quick attention by the term contractor and generally have short term duration for CTO completion. a. The District requires professional Architectural services to assist with analysis, design and construction administration services for Maintenance and Facilities projects. Analysis services may include facility/component condition, space, code compliance, functional adequacy, product, energy, DEED Condition Survey and Facility appraisal, site fit, facility fit, cost benefit, life cycle cost and operational cost. Design and construction administration services may be needed for the evaluation of existing facilities building envelope and roofing systems, design of facilities remodels to include ADA upgrades, assistance with color determinations, as-built drawing in CAD. b. The District requires professional Civil Engineering services to assist with various types of projects of a civil nature. These projects may include parking lot improvements, drainage improvements, sidewalks, site amenities, athletic field improvements, site assessments, underground utilities and the development of SWPPP documents. c. The District requires professional Electrical Engineering services to assist with various types of projects, both design and consultation. The work may include electrical site surveys and electrical system evaluations, camera systems, fire alarms, intercoms, public address systems, service panels, breaker panels, load calculations, wind turbines, generators, lighting (interior and exterior), ECMs, electrical standards, electrical system commissioning, electrical submittal support, electrical product reviews, emergency shutdown systems and all other general electrical support. d. The District requires professional Mechanical Engineering services to assist with various types of projects, both design and consultation. The work may include HVAC, controls, sprinkler systems and plumbing scoping, design and construction administration services
