The State of Alaska, Department of Public Safety (DPS) is seeking a qualified vendor to provide a navigation software subscription package for use by department pilots during various types of flying. DPS has a minimum of 38 pilots using navigation accounts within the State of Alaska and several requiring Canadian map add-ons. The accounts fluctuate in number depending on new pilots and others leaving state service. All pilots are currently operating with tablets for navigation. All pilots are required to have a Foreflight Business Pro subscription for pilot charts and flight plates. The airframes requiring Foreflight Canada add-on include: King Air 350i, Cessna 208, and Airbus H125.
