The contractor shall construct a new lift station adjacent to the existing covenant lift station including: 1. Demolition of the existing lift station 2. Construction of new lift station adjacent to existing covenant lift station site 3. Replacement of the existing manhole with a new manhole and installation of a new terminal manhole adjacent to the new lift station 4. Connection of the new manholes and lift station to the existing gravity sewer and forcemain systems 5. Construction of temporary bypass and pumping systems as required throughout construction to maintain sewer services. The new lift station includes chopper pumps and rail systems to adequately pump incoming sewage along with an overhead crane, a heating system, and a ventilation system.
