The District is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to provide a complete turnkey replacement of the Gymnasium Audio and Visual System at Valdez High School. The goal of this project is to enhance sound quality and visual capabilities for various activities hosted in this multi-purpose facility, including sports events, assemblies, graduations, school performances, and community gatherings. The current system is unreliable, difficult to use, outdated, and insufficient for programmatic needs. The project aims to design, engineer, supply, and install a comprehensive A/V system that provides clear sound coverage throughout the gymnasium for athletes, spectators, and participants. The system should be intuitive and easy-to-use, allowing for operation by individuals with limited experience.
