Specifications include, but are not limited to: The contractor is expected to develop the core materials for an instructor and students manual, exercises, end of lesson reviews, pre-test and post-test for a 32-hour course. The contractor will not be required to create page layouts or graphic design. Training and presentation material content shall be developed based on the following outline of major topics identified by COMMERCE: Training and Presentation Material Content (a) Section 1a Introduction and Course Overview (2 hours) (b) Section 1b Working with Operators (2 hours) (c) Section 2 Safety and Emergency Planning (4 hours) (d) Section 3 Data Collection and Reporting (4 hours) (e) Section 4 Operation and Maintenance Scheduling (4 hours) (f) Section 5 Public Relations (4 hours) (g) Section 6 Inventory Control/Asset Inventory (4 hours) (h) Section 7 Budgeting and Finance (4 hours) (i) Section 8a Interactive review activities (2 hours) (j) Section 8b Test (2 hours) Course Instruction Actual instruction time for the course should be: (a) 4 hours for each section (b) 2 hours for each subsection (c) each section / subsection should include: (i) time for presentation of materials (lecture and discussion) (ii) breaks (iii) individual, team and small group exercise(s) (iv) review/discussion and completion of a review worksheet (action plan), except for section 8b which will consist of a final test.
