The Federal Aviation Administration has a requirement to procure general contracting/professional painting services to repair interior wall finishes at the Air Route Traffic Control Center in Anchorage AK.
Scope: Patch, repair and re-paint interior walls, doors and frames marred by use, movement of
equipment and materials and general wear included in the limits of work. This includes the common
areas, i.e., corridors, conference rooms, break rooms. This work will include Technical /Operations wing
bldg. 400, ops Support wing bldg. 400. Administrative Wing bldg. 400. Repairs to drywall, priming, and
painting are included and removal and replace of all covebase. Contractor to provide dust and noise
control barriers as needed. Demolition, disposal, and final cleanup included. This work will include
replacing all cove base to match existing in kind in specified areas.
Constraints The work is at a critical government facility, which must remain operational 24 hours a day,
7 days a week. The Contractor must not interfere with or disrupt air traffic operations. The work shall not
discharge static electricity, damage, or interfere with other equipment at the facility, and security shall not
be compromised. Security Requirements. This project is on a restricted entry site and no compromise of
the security system in any nature or of any duration may be made without prior approval from the
Contracting Officer (CO). Facility security personnel and the CO have the authority to remove anyone
from the site.
