Specifications include, but are not limited to: Plowing: 1. Snowplowing will be on an automatic basis. The contractor will monitor the weather conditions and perform service when a total of 2" of snow has fallen. During continuous snowstorms, snowplowing will begin after 2" to 4" accumulation. 2. Plowing areas consist of all parking and driveway areas for the buildings. 3. Pile snow on designated areas to keep parking lot and driveways clear of snow buildup. 4. Plowing is to be performed during evening hours after 6:00pm. All work must be completed no later than 6:00 am the next day. 5. In events of heavy continuous snowfall (8" or more accumulation in a period of 24 hours or less), pass through plowing necessary to keep parking and driveway areas passable is to be performed between 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. the next day and are billable as plowing occurrences under the contract. Sanding: 1. Sanding service will be on a "call out" basis. 2. Contractor must respond and be on site within two hours after receipt of service call from MYC. 3. Sanding areas include parking lot and driveway areas for the building. 4. Sanding must be performed so as to prevent slick or hazardous conditions. 5. Sanding material is defined as pea gravel. Sweeping: 1. Sweeping service will be on a "call out" basis. 2. Sweeping areas include parking lot and driveway areas for the building. Excluded services: 1. Scraping, snow hauling and walkway de-icing are not part of this contract.
