Specifications include, but are not limited to: Furnishing all labor, tools, local supervision, and performing routine summer and winter maintenance of the airport facility including preventative maintenance on Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities owned maintenance equipment, building structures and roadways located on airport property unless otherwise designated. It is the intent of this Contract that the Contractor perform all duties necessary to maintain and operate the airport during the term of this Contract such that the Airport is kept open 7 days a week, 365 days per year unless an emergency or routine maintenance prevents the airport from being open. To the greatest extent practical, the Contractor is to provide that level of performance that will insure the safe and convenient use of the airport by the public. The State may opt to offer renewal of this contract for two additional one year periods.
