Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The Division of Alaska State Troopers has a requirement to provide rural law enforcement training services in an Academy-type environment in Bethel, Alaska. Rural law enforcement training courses include: Village Public Safety Officers (VPSO) Rural Law Enforcement Training (RLET) - Village Police Officer (VPO)/Tribal Police Officer (TPO) Training - Community Policing Training - - Drug Abuse Resistance Education (DARE) Training - School Resource Officer (SRO) Training 2. These training academies will last from one (1) to three (3) weeks in duration in the Bethel based contract training facility. Instruction will include numerous law enforcement areas such as community policing, search and rescue, basic first aid, CPR and rural fire fighting
