This quote will result in the immediate purchase and delivery of Calcined Clay Infield Conditioner as specified in the technical specifications for the City & Borough of Juneau (City or CBJ) Parks & Recreation, Parks & Landscape Division (PRPL). QUANTITIES : The City anticipates issuing a purchase order for 20,000 lbs . If additional quantities are needed CBJ may ask the Supplier to honor any pricing submitted for the duration of the current fiscal year. The City does not guarantee any minimum or maximum orders. TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS : Parks and Rec has identified that the Turface (brand) Pro League Elite Natural Infield Conditioner meets their procedure requirements. Suppliers proposing any equivalent product must explain their equivalent or variances using theVariance/Equivalent Page. Suppliers may propose equivalent brand products; however, all equivalents must meet or exceed the following specifications. The Calcined Clay Infield Conditioner MUST be a blend of a minimum of forty percent (40%) Illite Silica and a minimum of sixty percent (60%) Amorphous Silica. The material must be processed in a rotary kiln operation at temperatures not less than twelve hundred (1200) degrees Fahrenheit. Product must be screened and de-dusted. Product must be packaged in a minimum of forty-pound (40#) and no more than fifty-pound (50#) plastic bags. Supplier must provide SDS or (if applicable a MSDS) sheet must be provided with this product.
