Specifications include, but are not limited to: Day custodial services shall not be performed by the same person providing night custodial services. Day Custodian Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM; with lunch from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM. The Day Custodian shall report to the Facility Coordinator or his/her representative immediately upon arrival to work at 9:00 AM and again at 12:30 PM. The main purpose of the Day Custodian is to provide specific or immediate custodial services as assigned by the Facility Coordinator. If there are no specific or immediate custodial services required, the Day Custodian shall provide any other custodial services required under this contract. The Contractor shall provide the Day Custodian with a working cell phone. The cell phone number shall be provided to the Facility Coordinator. The cell phone shall be utilized to contact the Day Custodian, should the need for immediate or specific custodial services arise. The Day Custodian is required to, without delay, respond to requests for immediate or specific custodial services. The Day Custodian shall possess the ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. Night Crew Night crew janitorial services shall be performed between 8:00 PM and 6:00 AM. The Contractor shall not be allowed to provide custodial services outside the stated hours without written authorized from the MOA Contract Administrator. The Night crew is responsible for ensuring all custodial services, as outlined in Sections 4 and 5, have been successfully completed. The contractor shall furnish all cleaning equipment, and supplies needed by the custodians to successfully complete any assigned cleaning task. The contractor shall ensure adequate supplies are available onsite for custodian use. SIDEWALK MAINTENANCE Scope of Work: Front Ramp, Stairs, and Loading Dock Area • Remove all snow, ice, dirt, debris, and foreign matter, from all entrances, steps, ramps, landings, sidewalks, and approaches prior to 7:00am until closing, five days per week; Monday through Friday. • The Contractor shall furnish the necessary tools, equipment, supplies, and other items determined to be needed for sidewalk cleaning. • Ice melt shall be used frequently to reduce safety hazards due to ice and snow. The contractor shall supply ice melt at no additional cost. All ice melt shall be applied uniformly and in enough of an amount to effect ice melting action. Ice melting products shall not be harmful to any vegetation or cause damage to sidewalks, ramps, stairs, etc. • During the months of November through March, the contractor shall visually inspect all sidewalks for snow and ice accumulation. If necessary, corrective action will be taken immediately to ensure that all snow and ice is totally removed when ANY accumulation is reached. Standards: The specified areas shall be maintained in a clean and safe condition as needed. Snow and ice will be totally removed when any accumulation is reached during the normal operating hours of this facility
