Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Alaska Student Loan Corporation (ASLC) and the Alaska Commission on Postsecondary Education (ACPE) are soliciting propoals for origination services for state education loan programs for a period of three years, with the option of three, one-year extensions. The Originator will be responsible for accepting and processing education loan applications, certifying student enrollment, and disbursing funds to schools. Once the loan is disbursed, the loan information will be transferred to a third party servicer, who will service the loans on ACPE’s behalf. ACPE has selected Pennsylvania Higher Education Assistance Agency (PHEAA), conducting business as American Education Services (AES) to service Alaska’s state education loans.
