Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. General responsibilities a. Reports to and receives direction from the project manager b. Participates in and reviews project plan and deliverables 2. Specific Cyber Security responsibilities a. Design cyber security systems and configurations for an enterprise network that will include both on premise and cloud based components: firewalls, web and email filters, endpoint protection, Network Detection and Response (NDR) (formerly Network Traffic Analysis (NTA)), centralized logging, Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems (IPS/IDS), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Security Operations Center (SOC), Network Access Control (NAC), Cloud Security (DNS layer), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and others. The Borough uses many of the Cisco family of security products. Others include Check Point, Microsoft and Sophos.
