a. Areas to be Painted: • Entryway: Full wall height. • Hallways: From floor level up to the bottom of the light soffit, except for the entry area and one adjacent hallway section, which will be painted to full wall height. • Conference Room: One room measuring approximately 12 feet by 26 feet with a ceiling height of 10 feet; full height walls to be painted. b. Surface Preparation: • Clean all surfaces to remove dirt, dust, grease, and other contaminants. • Repair minor surface imperfections (nail holes, dents, scratches). • Caulking where necessary. • Protect adjacent surfaces, floors, furniture, and fixtures during prep and painting. c. Painting Requirements: • All paint materials must be low-VOC, commercial-grade interior paint. • Colors will be selected by the City prior to commencement. • Apply a minimum of one primer coat (if applicable) and two finish coats unless otherwise approved by the City. • All work must be completed in a clean and professional manner. d. Work Hours and Coordination: • Work must be coordinated with the City to minimize disruption to FPD operations. • Work may be scheduled outside of regular business hours, pending City approval.
