The Department of Public Safety, Division of Alaska State Troopers, is soliciting bids for a qualified vendor to provide the services of a household goods move between Wasilla, Alaska and Prince of Wales, Alaska. Complete a move of household goods from Wasilla, Alaska, to Prince of Wales, Alaska within the parameters provided below: CRITICAL PATH ACTION DATES Household Goods Pack and Load Dates: Shipper available to begin packing goods on January 16, 2026, but load no later than January 31, 2026. Vendor to agree with shipper on Pack and Load dates within this range after award. Household Goods Delivery at Destination: Shipper available to receive goods after February 16, 2026, but no later than March 20, 2026. Vendor to agree with shipper on delivery dates within this range after award. VEHICLE TRANSPORTATION: Vehicle shall only be driven to load or unload on to Carrier’s method of transportation. Vehicle shall not be driven on the roadway as a primary conveyance from Origin to Destination. SPECIAL NOTICE: Please read: Cube Sheet – Trp. Firearms: Can bidder move firearms with household goods move. QUALIFICATION OF STORAGE FACILITY: Vendor shall provide a heated warehouse with adequate fire protection (sprinklers, fire extinguishers, alarms, etc.), and pest control program. From the standpoint of adequate facilities and cost savings to the State, Anchorage is the recommended storage site. However, storage location will ultimately be the decision of the carrier. HOUSEHOLD GOODS: At all times household goods shall be secured in a protected environment from the weather. Household goods are not to be left unprotected or unsheltered at any time.
