Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. All qualified vendors must meet the inherent needs of the District. 2. All officials will be certified through the ASAA National Federation. 3. All officials must attend an in-service meeting that meets the District’s requirements of Equity training by the end of the first season. 4. The officiating vendor shall have officials at the designated game sites in adequate time to perform their duties before the scheduled start of the game. 5. The District shall not be held responsible for any accident or injury sustained by the vendor’s officials. 6. A District representative, along with the vendor representative, shall have the right to evaluate and refuse the service of any official provided by the vendor who fails to meet the standards set forth by the District Representative with due reason. The results of the evaluations will be shared with the vendor. 7. Notification for additional games will be given to the vendor 24-hours in advance of the scheduled start of the game. The vendor is responsible to provide officials for added games if they have them available. 8. Vendor official shall officiate exhibition games, if there are adequate numbers of individuals to participate. 9. The vendor is required to have an association representative present at all organizational meetings, which are held prior to the beginning of each season. 10. Compensation: The vendor shall reimburse the District for any and all overpayments. a. The District shall pay the regular game fee for any games cancelled without at least three (3) days advance notice to the vendor, excluding winter storms emergency closure of schools. b. The District shall pay the total game fee for each forfeited game without notice. The District shall provide notice of rescheduled and/or cancelled games, but in no case shall the vendor be responsible for providing officiating services should the District fail to provide twenty-four (24) hour advance notice.
