The Contractor shall provide professional services to produce the Glenn Highway Wildlife-Vehicle Collision Mitigation Study. The study will be a comprehensive evaluation of the Glenn Highway corridor from MP1 to MP35 designed to consolidate and assess previous research and current conditions, engage key stakeholders, and develop effective strategies to reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions (WVC). This project will have a robust public involvement plan to facilitate coordination with state and federal agencies, local governments, tribes, key stakeholders, and community members. The goal of the study is to identify conditions that lead to elevated WVCs and suggest projects, strategies, and/or policy changes to reduce collisions and develop conceptual designs and cost estimates for the highest-priority projects.
