Specifications include, but are not limited to: Snow shall be removed from DESIGNATED AREAS down to the existing surface (NO SNOW BUILDUP). Plowing is to be started within one (1) hour after the accumulation greater than three (3) inches has been reached. If requested by call out (within one (1) hour of call out), from a District Contract Administrator or designee, snow will be removed and/or sand will be spread on DESIGNATED AREAS. Snow will be removed down to the top of the existing surface. Snow removed from DESIGNATED AREAS is required to be placed in the designated Snow Storage Area (See Exhibit 1). The Contractor is not required to haul snow from the site. The Contractor shall coordinate a meeting at the school in Girdwood to review all snow and sanding removal/product/activities required with the District Contract Administrator or designee prior to beginning of the first snowfall. Complete snow and sanding removal/spreading may require the Contractor to return to the work area after the next school day to remove snow and spread sand in areas where the District vehicles were parked. No additional payment will be due to the Contractor for performance of this requirement.
