Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.) Clear snow from parking areas, road surfaces, and walkways as detailed in solicitation and depicted on the enclosed drawing. Area encircled in yellow is to be plowed/cleared on an as-needed as well as an on-call basis. Area encircled in red is to be plowed/cleared on an on-call basis only. 2.) In addition, Contractor shall plow between the head bolt heaters in the South parking lot, the West parking lot walkway between guardrails, the sidewalks, handicapped areas and all steps around the Fairbanks F&G Regional Complex, a path from the Commercial Fish door to the Modular Unit and steps of the modular unit; sidewalks, steps and handicapped access to the lab on both sides of the lab; steps and walkways of the farmhouse; access road to the new storage facility; and door entry area in front of steps to the bunkhouse and pathway to back staircase of bunkhouse and clear back steps. All sidewalks shall be cleared by 7:00 am of the current workday. 3.) Apply sand (material to be provided by the State) to icy sidewalks, walkways, steps and around the dumpster, 4.) When snow accumulation reaches two (2) inches, the Contractor is required to plow/clear all the areas specified (except the storage facility yard) no later than 7:00 am on normal State workdays.
