Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Typical electronic waste products which may be declared as surplus e-waste materials by the District shall include but not be limited to desktop computers, computer towers, computer monitors, printers, copiers, iPads and other electronic devices, servers, battery backups, cameras, radios and base stations, projectors, typewriters, cameras, VHS/DVD players, telephones, and miscellaneous electronic waste. Disposal of such materials shall be accomplished in accordance with local, state, and federal laws; EPA guidelines; and general industry practices. B. The successful bidder shall verify item count, which shall include item description, quantity, serial number and/or District asset number for all items requiring media sanitation (destruction). The successful bidder shall provide loading and transportation from the District’s centralized warehouse. All electronic waste will be palletized by district personnel. The successful bidder shall provide tracking on items until data destruction is complete.
