he contractor shall ensure work is being performed to correct the deficiencies described in the technical memorandum dated March 29, 2020 and summarized below: (1) Manhole Replacement: The contractor shall prepare modified design plan and profile drawings and sheets with manhole details that replaces the 38 uninsulated corrugated manholes to prevent inflow and infiltration, freezing, and vandalism. The modified plan and profile drawings and sheets with manhole details shall be completed to a standard that obtains approval to construct from ADEC. The 38 uninsulated corrugated metal manholes shall be replaced by the contractor with insulated concrete manholes, secured access with built-in ingress/egress, frost covers, and will not be set above the local ground surface. (2) Site Control: Many of the corrugated metal manholes trespass on private or housing lease property. The contractor shall obtain site control with easements across 46 lots for many of the manholes and associated sewer mains identified in the technical memorandum dated March 29, 2020.
