The Denali Borough is soliciting proposals from qualified Offerors to develop a new Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS). The Consultant will conduct data collection and analysis, strategic planning, public outreach, and technical writing of the CEDS. The goal is to have a CEDS that is crafted through a robust public engagement process, and which guides local government and community action regarding economic development. It should provide relevant background information and a realistic and successful approach towards economic growth that reflects the consensus and character of the borough. The CEDS should address resiliency and recovery in the face of natural disasters and other major economic disruptions. Other local and regional planning documents should be incorporated into the CEDS.
