Framing and Wall Modifications o Fur out sink/vanity walls using metal studs. o Frame a privacy wall at the entry of the women’s restroom. o Frame in any exposed vertical plumbing. o Install new sheetrock on all newly framed areas. o Interior Finishes C. Interior Finishes o Paint the entire interior of each restroom. o Install new ceramic tile flooring. o Install ceramic wall tile behind new vanities. o Fixtures and Accessories D. Fixtures and Accessories o Install all new ADA-compliant restroom fixtures, including: Toilets Sinks (with ADA-compliant counters) Relocated urinals in the men’s restroom o Install new accessories, including: Mirrors Soap and paper towel dispensers Baby changing stations Handicap grab bars as required o Install new toilet partitions in both restrooms: Pedestal-mounted Minimum height of 7 feet Mounted 3 inches above finished floor E. Electrical Work o Install GFCI-protected outlets as needed. o Perform any electrical modifications required to support new fixtures and accessories. o Install new power-assisted, handicap-accessible entry doors for both restrooms. F. Plumbing Work o Install new water supply and waste lines as needed to support new fixture locations. o Replace all toilets and sinks with new units. o Tie in a new sink drain from the IT department as directed. G. Design Coordination This scope of work is subject to refinement during the pre-bid walkthrough and as additional design input is received. Final design specifications and layout will be confirmed prior to award of contract.
