The Department of Natural Resources, Division of Mining, Land and Water, is soliciting bids for Business Park Wetlands clean-up and removal services. The Contractor shall walk the area commonly referred to as the Business Park Wetlands on a bi-weekly basis to clean-up and remove all personal property (of value or not of value), refuse,human waste, hazardous waste, debris, non-natural material from the area. All disposal costs and/or dump fees shall be included in price estimates. Contractor to inform DNR of any occupancy or camps on the site. Prior to the contractor’s next scheduled visit, DNR will post signage informing occupants of camp of pending removal and cleanup, upon which all remaining trash and debris will be hauled away by Contractor. Clean-up must not disturb the vegetative mat. All clean-up related material removed must be disposed of at a Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) approved disposal site. The measurement for “clean” will be no visible trash remaining on site. Clean-up will be considered finished upon successful completion of a field inspection by both the DNR Southcentral Regional Office (SCRO) staff and theContractor. The field inspection will be conducted after all the snow/ice melt has occurred. A completion report detailing the amount of refuse removed from the site, where the refuse was disposed, how long the clean-up took to complete, what types and amounts of hazardous waste found/disposed of, any anomalies of note with the clean-up project and photos of the area, before, during and after clean-up. Contractor must comply with these deliverables every time the site is cleaned.
