The contractor shall be responsible for: • All wharfage and moorage charges • Additional rental equipment or outside contractor services for loading/offloading/transport as determined necessary. • Cargo Insurance. • Land based transport of cargo beyond immediate loading and offloading zone (Additional repositioning of cargo or equipment). • Land based storage fees associated with project or cargo. • Expenses associated with or incurred for obtaining permitting or special use permits. Two round trip services are anticipated for this contract during the 2026 field season. The first barge will leave Anchorage, Homer, or Seward for Icy Cape approximately June 1, 2026. This barge shall transport: • Three 20ft shipping containers, 9,000 lbs. each • One Offroad vehicle with box, less than 14,000 lbs., 7’x18’ and 11.5’ high • One dump bed for an offroad vehicle will be loaded with supplies, 6.5’x6.5’x2’, less than 3,000 lbs.
