The City of Seward is seeking proposals from qualified Design/Builders to furnish all labor, materials, and necessary equipment for the replacement of pedestrian boardwalk/railing between F – Float and Ray’s Waterfront. This Pedestrian Boardwalk serves to provide a safe walkway for locals and visitors to travel along the waterfront. The current boardwalk measures 6’ x 136 or 816 square feet more or less and is to be widened to 10-12’ x 136 with a concrete curb installed along the West edge. The successful proposer will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits, site preparation, procurement of materials, removal/disposal and construction of current boardwalk. The structure will meet all applicable State of Alaska snow load and building code requirements for Seward. The qualified proposer should have experience with the design and build process and also have completed similar design/fabrication projects.
