The transformer will be installed on a 11 kV, 3-phase, 60-hertz, high resistance grounded generation bus on the Delta low side and will serve as generation step-up transformer for a high side delivery voltage of 24.9 kV Wye, effectively grounded distribution system. Present configuration for the transformer is a 11 kV connection on the low side, and operation at 24.9 kV on the high side. The transformer shall have side mounted bushings with a cable containment compartment. B. The elevation above sea level is 70 feet or less. The average ambient temperature range is - 25.3° F to +72.7° F. The 20-year extreme temperature range is -44.8° F to 85.7° F. The installation is in an area with coastal salt spray. C. The transformer will be protected on both the high and low-side with vacuum circuit breakers.
