Bids must be submitted on DCM C-3 Bid Proposal forms. Additional documentation includes Certificate of Insurance, E-Verify, Al Vendor Disclosure Statement, AL Contractors License, DCM C-4 Bid Bond, and Vendor W9 form. All bidders bidding in amounts exceeding that established by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed under the provisions of Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975 and must show evidence of license before bidding or bid will not be received or considered by the Owner. The bidder shall show such evidence by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the proposal is delivered. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owner’s judgement, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
Sealed proposals will be received by the Alabama Space Science Exhibit Commission d/b/a U.S. Space and Rocket Center at the office of Sam Mitchell, Director of Procurement, U.S. Space and Rocket Center, at the ETF Building 1st Floor, Room #109, One Tranquility Base, Huntsville, Al 35805 until Thursday 05/22/25 at 2:00pm CST. At which time and place, each seal bid will be publicly opened and read into the record.
You may also submit your seal bid prior to public bid opening to the Director of Procurement, for the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, by coming in person to the Administration Entrance located at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center, One Tranquility Base, Huntsville, Al 35805. You may also mail your seal bid using a reliable & trackable delivery method to the street address listed and by the time and due date shown.
Electronic bids submitted via email to samm@spacecamp.com will be accepted as long as they arrive prior to the time and date shown above.
