This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Army Contracting Command-Redstone is soliciting a quote. In order for a quote to be accepted, the vendor must provide historical pricing data such as copies of previous invoices or purchase orders to support fair and reasonable pricing. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W31P4Q-25-Q-0012 is to be a Sole Source Requirement in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b) for soliciting from a single source in that the circumstances of the contract action make only one source reasonably available. The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 333514. The Technology Development Directorate is soliciting a quote for the procurement of of two (2) GRIMCO NH30-2 Hydraulic Presses.
The contractor shall provide the following items as specified in the table below:

Additionally, this equipment must meet the requirements stated below:
- 30-ton force capacity
- 24” daylight
- Heated platens with a minimum heating capacity of 500°F
- Electrical service requirements 208 Volt Single Phase Power
- Machines footprint must fit within a 6.5-feet x 6.5-feet space
- Semi-Automatic Control: Press automatically opens at end of cycle. Includes adjustable cure timer and solenoid dump valve.
- Digital force gauge, high accuracy
- Press Frame constructed of carbon steel plate with one vertically mounted single up acting cylinder operating at 5000 PSI maximum. This cylinder pushes up the middle bolster with one daylight between the middle and top platens. The platens are mounted on bolster plates. Plate work area of 12.5" X 18.5" between post left to right and front to back.
- Four(4) guide rods which are lubricated and threaded allowing for adjustment of the daylight.
- Each Press will have two electrically heated and manual cooled platens, 4500 watts each and one heat zone each will operate up to 600 Degrees Fahrenheit. Platens of carbon steel construction, precision ground to .001 per/ft with cartridge, and insulation between the platen and bolster plates.
- Hydraulic system consisting of a two-stage manual pressure pump. The low pressure will supply high volume for rapid movement of the ram. The high-pressure stage of the pump will supply the volume of hydraulic fluid needed to reach the desired pressures.
