Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Develop a Multiple Property Documentation Form (MPDF) that will identify historic themes, significant events, and property types that are associated with the Civil Rights Movement in Montgomery, Alabama from 1954 – 1968 while also including earlier activism efforts ; 2) Complete a historic context as part of the MPDF that adheres to NPS guidelines and identify property types associated with the Civil Rights Movement in Montgomery, Alabama from 1954 - 1968. For each property type, the consultant shall provide a description, a summary of the property type ’s significance and how it relates to the historic contexts, and requirements for listing examples of each property type in the National Register of Historic Places. 3) Prepare one to three National Register nominations for historic resources under the cover of the MPDF. The properties to be nominated will be selected in consultation with the Commission and could include individual properties , historic districts, or updates to existing individual or historic district nominations.
