Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The CONTRACT SECURITY COMPANY (as defined in Code of Alabama Section 34-27C-1(5), herein referred to as "Contractor" shall furnish SECURITY OFFICERS (as defined in Code of Alabama Section 34-27C-1(9), herein referred to as "Guards", in full compliance with Code of Alabama Section 34-27C, to protect designated properties of the Alabama Department of Finance Facilities Management Division against loss and perils as follow: a. The detection and prevention of unauthorized intrusion or entry, larceny, vandalism, abuse, arson, or trespass on private property; the observation, securing and reporting of evidentiary information. b. The prevention, observation, or detection of any unauthorized activity on private property. c. The control, regulation, or direction of the flow or movements of individuals, whether by vehicle, on foot, or otherwise. 2. Security guards will be required to have a minimum of 2 years’ experience performing security guard services similar to or greater than those outlined. 3. Security guard supervisor will be required to have a minimum of 2 years supervisory experience AND a minimum of 5 years’ experience performing security guard services similar to or greater than those outlined. 4. The Contractor shall furnish Guards for each protected property on the days and at the times identified in the bid documents. Service days and times are subject to change by FACILITY MANAGEMENT. Actual days and times shall be specified in the "post orders" for each protected property, updated as required for seasonal changes, special events, exigent circumstances or on the authority of the FACILITY MANAGEMENT Manager.
