Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Prescribe, provide and supervise direct care services to adult patients with serious mental illness. These services may include group and individual therapy, behavior therapy, and crisis intervention. 2. Develop, implement, monitor, and supervise behavior management programs for adult patients. 3. Conduct and supervise age-appropriate psychological assessments to facilitate diagnosis, treatment planning, and discharge. Assessments may include intakes, updates, suicide risk assessments, violence risk assessments, forensic assessments or other applicable assessments. Provide court testimony as need/required. 4. Participate in treatment planning for adult patients. Such treatment planning may include participation in treatment team review meetings, individual treatment planning conferences and other team meetings. 5. Provide appropriate documentation in the medical record and/or elsewhere of clinical activities, including intake and update evaluation, violence risk assessments, forensic assessments, progress notes, and other applicable documentation. All documentation is to be done within designated time frames. 6. Supervise designated associate-level psychology staff members and students. 7. Access, interpret, and monitor data related to provision of services. 8. Provide leadership as a member of the Clinical Management Team participating in unit decision making and planning. 9. Obtain and maintain state licensure as a psychologist and certification as a forensic examiner; obtain and maintain membership on Bryce Hospital medical staff with at least required privileges. 10. Participate in mandatory hospital in-service training sessions, as we as required professional development in-service training. 11. Ensure his area is in compliance with Joint Commission, CMS, and hospital standards at all times. 12. Vendor will perform other duties as assigned by supervisor. Note: This contract will be terminated if the facility finds an applicable candidate for full time employment with the State.
