Specifications include, but are not limited to: The scope of the project is two-fold: 1) to develop, manage, operate, and maintain a mixed-use development that includes a hotel, commercial uses, and an indoor recreation facility within the City of Northport’s approved 300- acre Northport Shore masterplan and 2) manage, operate, and maintain all recreational areas (Sports Complex) within the 300- acre masterplan. The 300-acre Northport Shoremaster plan area will be located off of 5th Street in Northport, Alabama in the newly branded Northport Shore district. Phase I of the approved masterplan is nine competition baseball/softball fields and will break ground in 2024. The goal of the Northport Shore Sports Complex is to provide an all-inclusive experience for athletes and their families, from youth to adults, through recreational facilities supporting a variety of sports, accommodations, and commercial offerings. The Sports Complex is designed to be of size and quality to accommodate all levels of local, regional, and national tournaments and leagues. The Northport Shore masterplan is attached as Exhibit A.
