Specifications include, but are not limited to: The vendor will be responsible for communicating with candidates to schedule exams, proctoring and scoring all exams, maintaining informational databases , and producing various reports. The vendor must provide exam scores to ABOC, submit scores to SMT, and maintain an accurate web-based database for ABOC, candidates, and schools to be able to access information . The vendor must cover all costs associated with the written exams, including materials, vendor’s personnel, vendor’s personnel’s travel, testing site location costs, ADA accommodations, and any other charges associated with the written exams as set forth below. The “each” (per exam) fee listed on the contract is the only allowable charge to be billed to ABOC. Exams: Vendor must provide and administer written computer-based exams developed by National Interstate Council of State Boards of Cosmetology (NIC) for Barber, Cosmetology, Esthetician, Manicurist, Natural Hair Styling (Braider/Weaver), Instructor , and other similar exams . Exams must be administered in accordance with all NIC rules and regulations and ADA requirements. Proof of authorization from NIC for the vendor to administer NIC tests may be requested at any time during the contract and must be provided within 5 business days from the date of request
