In-Situ SEM Tensile/Compression test frame capacity: 5 kN
The frame should fit in to Apreo SEM (from ThermoFisher Scientific) chamber on the SEM working stage without any issue and the
largest dimension not exceeding preferably 200 mm and tensile frame height as small as possible for having larger working distance
to capture large tensile sample area during tensile testing.
The weight of the frame should not exceed 3.0 kg
During tensile testing, the central region of the tensile specimens should not shift, i.e., both cross-heads of the tensile stage should
move apart at equal rate to keep the center of the specimen at its original position.
Extensometer resolution: less than 5 micrometer
Cross-head speed range: min. 0.1-0.5 um/s, max 20-30 um/s and means to select cross-head speedsbetween these ranges using a
computer by the software provided by the tensile stage vendor.
The software should run on Windows operating system 7,8 or 10.
Should have availability of additional gear boxes for obtaining a slower cross-head speeds
