Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of the RFP is to obtain the installation and maintenance of a unified communications system. This RFP is for Data and Voice services as well as the telephone system. Montgomery Housing Authority is looking to purchase/lease a new VoIP/hybrid system to replace our existing NEC system. MHA wants a system that is current and functional for a business of our size and type, but further a system that can quickly and inexpensively be updated to accommodate changes in technology and needs. MHA seeks a system that can be used in the office, on mobile devices, potentially from one’s home and in other locations. It is the offeror’s responsibility to evaluate the MHA’s current conditions, setup, phone/fax lines, dedicated circuits, etc., to ensure a successful, smooth and uninterrupted transition. The Contractor shall be responsible for all licenses, fees, and permits (if required) for the performance of the contract resulting from this RFP. All existing equipment is to be utilized wherever possible. The scope of services should include, but may not be limited to, the following: • Cut over existing Direct Inward Dial (DID) and fiber numbers from current vendor (Spectrum), no phone numbers are to change • Move over existing analog lines from current vendor (Spectrum) • Contractor is providing any inside cable wiring as needed • Repair services within 24 hours • Emergency repair and/or installation within two (2) hours, for situations which effect the health and welfare of the MHA’s tenants as deemed necessary by the MHA (such as elevator and alarm system lines, for example) • New installation (when needed during the life of the contract), service must be equivalent (or better) in performance to MHA’s existing service and shall be equivalent (or lower) in price per current line, circuit, etc. • Direct contact with a service manager to respond to questions and problems, assist in preparation of new service orders and resolve billing and related issues • Consolidated, easy-to-read billing: monthly bills to MHA listing all phone numbers, circuits, etc. and their costs • Caller ID on phone lines (integration with Yardi) • The completion of all paperwork, if necessary, to transfer service • Data requirements – We desire pricing for a minimal of 100 Mbps (up to 300 Mbps at 50 Mbps increments) of bidirectional bandwidth of Internet(data) services that is delivered with a category 5e/6 termination point where a block of public ip addresses are assignable to the customer's CPE device(s).
