Specifications include, but are not limited to: he selected vendor will supply one NEW Drug Testing Analyzer/Instrument and all necessary components, hereafter referred to collectively as “Laboratory Equipment”, to be used for conducting Drugs of Abuse Tests (DAT) in conformance with federal, state, and local laws and drug testing industry best practices. All Laboratory Equipment shall remain the property of the selected vendor throughout the term of the bid award agreement. HOOVER, therefore, expects to pay no fees for the use and maintenance of the Laboratory Equipment during the term of the bid award agreement. It shall be the vendor’s responsibility to deliver, install, set-up, and configure the Laboratory Equipment at a location designated by HOOVER. The selected vendor shall be responsible for providing all parts, maintenance, and repair services so that the Laboratory Equipment remains in good working condition throughout the term of the bid award agreement. The selected vendor shall further be responsible for removal of the laboratory equipment upon termination of the bid award agreement. The Laboratory Equipment shall include, at a minimum, the following components and support services: 1) One Drug Testing System or approved equivalent, with minimum characteristics as follows: a) Throughput – up to one hundred and eighty (180) drug tests per hour b) Reagent system – 42 item disk, Continuous access c) Sample System – 54 samples:9 position Sample Rack, 6 separate racks d) Continuous feed-Disposable Cuvettes-continuous access to cuvettes e) Self-contained with no need for external water or drainage connections f) Temperature controlled incubator for 90 cuvette cells g) Effective mixer to stir reagents h) Walk-away time of up to 3 hours i) Water consumption of 2.5 liters per hour j) Bench-top type system k) Capable of performing tests for Amphetamine, Barbiturate, Benzodiazepines, Cannabinoid (THC), Cocaine Metabolite, Ecstasy, Ethyl Alcohol, Heroin Metabolite (6-AM), Methadone Metabolite (EDDP), Methadone, Opiate, Oxycodone, Phencyclidine (PCP), Propoxyphene, Gravity Detect, pH-Detect, Creatinine Detect, General Oxidant, Carisoprodol (Soma), Cotinine, ETG, Fentanyl, Hydrocodone/Hydromorphone, Meperidine, Methamphetamine, Synthetic Cannabinoids-1, Synthetic Cannabinoids-2, Synthetic Cannabinoids-3, UR-144/XLR-11, AB-PINACA, Tapentadol, Tramadol, Tricyclics, and Zolpidem 2) Water Purification Unit a) Dual tank system capable of a maximum system flow rate of 5 liters per minute when fed tap water containing up to 170 ppm of total dissolved solids b) Capable of producing water that meets or exceeds Type II reagent grade water specifications c) Detached system with included dispensing system d) Warrantied and maintained by the selected vendor
