The new building structures will be supported on reinforced concrete footings and concrete slab-on-grade. Exterior wall construction is brick veneer on load bearing concrete masonry units with storefront windows. Roof construction is architectural standing seam on rigid insulation on structural steel deck over open web steel joists. Exterior canopy construction is architectural standing seam metal on metal deck on glued-laminated wood beams supported by steel columns. Interior walls are painted concrete masonry unit construction. Storm sewer, sanitary waste and vent piping are DWV-PVC below the floor slab and will transition to hubless cast iron piping above the floor slab. Domestic water piping will be copper hard drawn tube with lead free soldered joints. Storage type water heaters will provide hot water to all fixtures through a fully re-circulating piping system. A fully automatic fire sprinkler system will be provided for each building. Buildings will be served by split system heat pumps. Outdoor heat pump units will serve associated indoor unit. Refrigerant piping system will be hard copper with wrought copper sweat fittings made with solder. Ductwork will be pressure class galvanized sheet metal duct with external duct wrap. Electrical services for the new ITU and Therapy building will be derived from pad mounted transformers.
