Change Orders:
o Within 7 calendar days of any discrepancy or unforeseen condition being identified by the Contractor, the Purchaser will be provided notice of a potential change order.
o Changes in scope initiated by the Purchaser will provide sufficient detail for pricing and performing the required work.
o Proposals for any change order should be provided within 2 weeks and shall be provided with sufficient detail, including subcontractor proposals and material & labor,
breakdowns, for Purchaser review. If more time is required, Contractor will request and extension of time.
o Change Order Fee Schedule:
o Subcontractor work: Approved cost plus 10%
o Self-performed work-Labor & Materials: Approved cost plus 5%
o G.C. Overhead & Profit: Approved cost plus 10%
o NOTE: Overhead expenses included business expenses necessary to support the project and are not located on the job site. Accounting, estimating, project management, office expenses, etc., are not to be included in change order proposals.
· Prior to work commencing, the Contractor will take measures to prevent construction dust from entering the air conditioning ducts and building hallways.
· The Contractor is responsible for protection of smoke detectors and file alarm test mode coordination whenever work is performed on the project.
· The Contractor will need to coordinate work scheduling with all sub vendors. Such work shall include data, furniture, and video equipment vendors.
