Specifications include, but are not limited to: Harper Geriatric Center 1. Provide diagnostic procedures as follows: ° On location, technical x-ray services. ° Response within two hours after notification for routine examinations (Mon through Fri, 8am to 5pm). ° Services within one hour for emergency/stat examination including Saturdays and Sundays (except Thanksgiving and Christmas). ° Provide protection from excessive radiation exposure. ° Provide x-ray interpretations. Routine results faxed within 24 hours and Stat results faxed within four (4) hours to the Health Information Management Department. 2. Harper Staff will assist with patient identification and with performing the contemplated procedures. 3. Vendor will utilize its own qualified technicians, modern equipment, and facilities in addition to Harper facilities and equipment. However, DMH agrees the Contractor may utilize DMH personnel for assistance when needed. Referrals for Diagnostic Services will be made to the Contractor through the employees and agents who are authorized by DMH to make such referrals. When a referral is made to the Contractor, the requested services will be promptly, courteously, and expertly performed. Contractor warrants the quality and efficiency of its equipment and the expertise of its technicians and that the Contractor is in total compliance with all laws and regulations governing its operation. 4. Until the expiration of four years and the finishing of such services, Contractor shall upon written request make available to the Secretary of the Dept. of Health and Human Services (the “Secretary”), or the Comptroller General’s duly authorized representatives.
