Specifications include, but are not limited to: This document, entitled “Request for Proposals for Vin Decoding and Marine Valuation for Motor Vehicle Division Titling System” is issued by the Alabama Department of Revenue, hereinafter referred to as ALDOR. A Selection Committee has been appointed by the Commissioner of ALDOR to evaluate proposals. The chairperson of this Selection Committee is Leslie Mackey, Motor Vehicle Division. The overall purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to identify vendors that meet the State’s requirements for services for decoded vin information for all vehicles types requested. The data received will be used internally to assist ALDOR staff in ensuring that the correct vehicle information is contained on the vehicle title and will be used externally on ALDOR’s eServices site to assist taxpayers in the proper decoding of vin information.
