1. Tennis instruction for individuals and groups of all ages and skill levels. 2. Must be a United States Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) member or equivalent. Proven equivalent experience and/or certifications may be substituted. 3. Enforce all City of Orange Beach rules and regulations governing the use of the facility, its equipment, and other property. 4. Maintain a close working relationship with the area Coordinator, Parks and Recreation Director, and all City personnel. 5. Developing and implementing tennis programs, including clinics, workshops, and leagues. 6. Potential site organization and management of City-sponsored tennis tournaments and events. 7. Encourage community tennis participation by leading and assisting in developing events to promote the sport and facility. Prepare tennis clinics, leagues, socials, fun playing events, tennis education programs, etc., for such activities. 8. Maintenance of a safe and positive learning environment. 9. Communicate with the City of Orange Beach regarding program schedules and participant registration and address any issues or concerns. 10. Report needed maintenance of the Tennis Facility and assist in minor maintenance of courts, including putting up nets, cleaning courts, and other tasks as needed. 11. Teach a minimum of 4 weeks of recreational Junior Tennis Camps/Clinics during the summer. 12. Professional must provide own balls and small tennis supplies for teaching lessons.
