Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. • Objective – Sole Source Internet Legal Research Database Tool • Environment – Jefferson County Public Defender Office • Requirements – o Must be a citator service that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) in its system and be able to give multiple users the ability to perform queries on a wide range of topics in criminal and civil law o Must provide Shephard’s Citations Service to assist in determining good law by covering the complete spectrum of editorial analysis, from very negative (overruled) through mild negative (distinguished) to true positive (followed) o Must have a research tool whereby a user can select a specific passage within a case, then the tool lists cases citing the issue
