The City of Auburn is seeking bid proposal for the renovation and reconstruction of 4 tennis courts and 6 pickleball courts, including: • Removal of existing courts including all asphalt removal, haul all debris off site, and remove and store tennis exterior fencing during project • Re-grade existing stone base with laser grader • Compact sub grade with vibratory roller until proper compaction is achieved. Note: compaction test will be performed. Any areas not passing compaction test will be cut out and replaced with crusher run. • Add crusher run as necessary to achieve a minimum of 4” base; compact with vibratory roller until compaction is achieved • Apply 2” of fine topping asphalt • Install new net post foundations and center anchors to include a minimum of 1600 lbs. of concrete per footing and install center anchors in concrete footings • Paint existing exterior fence framework with black Rustoleum (or equivalent) and reinstall existing fence wire with new fittings as necessary • Patch and color coat courts to U.S.T.A. Court specifications and U.S.A. Pickleball specifications with a minimum of 2 coats of black and 2 coats of Acrytech (or equivalent acrylic coating) color to meet specifications (colors will be competition blue and competition green unless specified otherwise.) • Stripe 4 regulation tennis courts conforming to U.S.T.A. Specifications and 6 pickle ball courts conforming to U.S.A. Pickleball specifications with one coat of primer and two coats of texturized white line paint • Installation of all new net posts and new nets • No aspect of work will be done on courts during rainfall or when rain is imminent for painting; temperatures must be within manufacture’s limits • Damage to landscape or sidewalks must be repaired by contractor
