The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as “VDOT”) Chesterfield Residency is soliciting bids from interested firms to assist state forces in the performance of SNOW PLOWING SERVICES. Snowplowing services will be performed within the counties of Chesterfield and Powhatan, Virginia. It is the intent of this solicitation to establish multiple contracts, with multiple vendors, (per each piece of listed equipment) for the winter season beginning in 2009. VDOT will make the awards based on the “lowest” bid prices first, to satisfy the listed equipment counts. The amount of awards will be determined upon the quantity of responsive and responses. VDOT reserves the right to reject any bid that is determined to be unreasonable.
