Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Gulf Shores desires to enter into a contract for Concessionaire to provide Snack Concessions including but not limited to ice cream, frozen custard, Italian ice, gelato, coffee, hot chocolate, smoothies, and snow cones, or other mutually agreed to concession items, during events where City managed concessions are provided. All items offered for sale must be approved by the City. Location of Concessionaire set up will be determined by the City and based on specific event dates at the Sportsplex, Meyer Park, and Johnnie Sims Park with input from the Concessionaire and coordinated by the City Concession Supervisor. If the City at its sole discretion determines that a temporary discontinuation of the concession operation be required due to non-complementary activity (e.g., impending weather events or limited special), the Concessionaire shall cease operation and remove its equipment within forty-eight (48) hours from the time of request.
