1. DEMOLITION: a. To remove and replace the carpet/LVT/VCT in areas shown and add LVT and 6” rubber base on floors of the L.B. Wallace Office Building as noted on floor plans attached. Contractor will have to coordinate with timeline, electricity as required to install carpet and base. b. Remove and dispose of existing carpet and other flooring as noted, rubber base, and transition/reducer strips as required for new installation. 2. INSTALLATION: a. Furnish and install the carpet tile/LVT and 6” rubber base. Base shall wrap around the corners. Contractor to use only manufacturer’s approved glue/adhesion. Color as selected by Owner. Location as shown on supplemental plan. b. Generally, the areas of work are occupied, however the worker and their personal items, computers, and printers will be removed during work. Adjacent spaces will be occupied and noise to be kept to a minimum. 3. AREA OF WORK: a. L.B. Wallace Office Building, Floors 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8. Please see attached supplemental drawings for your use and clarity for work. Contractor may use a portion of the Basement for lay down space. b. All amount of material given in supplemental drawings are considered estimates only. Contractor to measure and verify actual quantities required to perform scope of work.
